ABOUT US
A SHORT HISTORY
As a  Born and Raised Albertan,  I  have been practicing law in Alberta since January 1991 at Old Strathcona Law Offices.   I  articled in Edmonton at a firm that had an extensive Criminal Law Practice Base,  Bassie & Plupek.

As a Law Student at the University of Alberta,  I  worked through Law School at Student Legal Services,  learning important practice skills in the area of  Criminal Law.

My Practice has taken me to all points in Alberta,  and to all levels of  Court,  including Opposing the Leave Application of  the Crown in R. v. Andrews,  to the Supreme Court of Canada  (Leave to Appeal Denied).

With an Interest in Rural Alberta,  and an avid Outdoorsman,  protecting personal freedoms  are of the highest importance to me  in my  representation  of my Clients.

With the many changes and developments in Criminal Law that have a far reaching impact beyond Canada for our right to travel and  work,  it is of  utmost importance that all Criminal Charges be reviewed with a Lawyer for the best possible outcome for your Future.

Too many times have I  seen Guilty Pleas being made out of convenience,  that has had lasting effects later in life.   Future travel,  future work,  future relationships,  future privacy concerns,  and future abilities to make Judicial interim Release (BAIL)  have been impacted inadvertently by  the actions taken in the moment.
